St Clare’s Hub
A welcoming space in Worthing to get essentials and advice
Do you need support?
If you’re experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, are at risk of losing your home or living in insecure housing, you’re welcome at St Clare’s. You don’t need a referral or paperwork – just bring yourself. We’re here to give you a safe place and the essentials you need.
When you visit, you’ll find:

Hot breakfast or cold food

Toilets and showers

Laundry facilities

Sleeping bags, tents and protective gear

Wifi and charging points

Shelter and a safe space
You can also access advice and support around housing, benefits, health and more at St Clare’s.
We work closely with local partner organisations to provide regular on-site drop-in services, giving people experiencing rough sleeping easy access to the support they need in a familiar and welcoming environment.
- Health support: A GP and nurse from Health Central run weekly drop-in clinics during our breakfast sessions on Mondays and Fridays.
- Substance use support: On Wednesdays, a CGL care coordinator and nurse are available to support clients with monitoring progress and planning ongoing care, alongside access to our needle exchange service which is available during our opening hours.
- Housing advice: A member of the council’s Housing Needs team visits every other week to offer guidance and support.
- Specialist services: The Hepatitis C team visits monthly to provide testing and help clients access treatment where needed.
