A welcoming space in Worthing to get essentials and advice

Do you need support?

If you’re experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, are at risk of losing your home or living in insecure housing, you’re welcome at St Clare’s. You don’t need a referral or paperwork – just bring yourself. We’re here to give you a safe place and the essentials you need.

When you visit, you’ll find:

Shelter and a safe space

You can also get advice and support around housing, benefits, health and more. A GP from Health Central holds regular drop-ins here, and you can access our needle exchange in partnership with CGL.

Opening times may change on certain bank holidays, so please check in advance.

  • Monday to Friday: Breakfast sessions, 9–11am
    The hub is staffed until 4pm
  • Saturdays: Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), 12–1.30pm
  • Sundays: Soup Kitchen, 9-11am

Group activities at our hubs

Our afternoon groups offer a friendly space to spend time with others and enjoy shared experiences. Whether you’re chatting over a cuppa, getting creative or learning something new, they’re a relaxed way to build confidence and be a part of a supportive community.

Littlehampton Community Hub

If you’re local to Littlehampton, our other hub will be more convenient for you. It offers most of the same services as St Clare’s and also has social groups in the afternoons. There’s a friendly atmosphere and you’re welcome to visit.
