The rebranding journey begun 5 years ago when the topic was discussed at our Annual Staff Conference. We have taken both time and consideration - holding focus groups with clients, volunteers and supporters throughout each stage.
Exploring our name led to a deeper organisational review of who we are and what we want to become. Alongside our new mission and values we hope our new name and distinct logo helps articulate our fundamental core and our commitment to ending local homelessness. We were inspired by the pioneering spirit of our founders and those who followed and consider the new logo to be both meaningful and evocative. Every person will interpret it differently, for some it may carry a message of hope, or have a biblical resonance, or be a metaphor for profound change. The connection with the coast, from where it all begun, has been retained through the waves.
Turning Tides launched on 1st October 2018 - representing a major chapter in our history, one which we want you to be a part of.
