About this event
Are you up for the challenge this June? Join us as we take on the Sussex Three Peaks, a 24 km (15-mile) trek across the stunning South Downs. Along the way, we will climb three hills: Steep Down, Cissbury Ring (the most historic hill on the South Downs), and Chanctonbury Ring, an ancient hill fort with breathtaking views.
Last year alone, Turning Tides supported more than 1,000 people through our services – and over 400 of them were new clients. These numbers show just how many people across West Sussex are struggling without a safe place to call home. We walk in solidarity and to raise vital funds to help those facing or experiencing homelessness.
Homelessness is rising, and our teams are working harder than ever to provide not just emergency shelter, but hope: from hot meals and warm beds to counselling, skills training, and long-term support that helps people rebuild their lives. Now more than ever, Turning Tides work is vital.
That’s why this year, Turning Tides is taking on the Sussex Three Peaks Challenge. While this can’t truly replicate what people experiencing homelessness face everyday, it offers a power glimpse into their reality.
