How did Priavo become interested in Turning Tides?
Managing Director, Celine Murphy, has supported homelessness throughout her career and feels passionately about championing this issue on a national level. She found out about Turning Tides through her daughter’s school and contacted us directly to see how her company could help. After taking part in our November SleepOut in 2019, Celine was hooked and asked if she could partner with us to help raise awareness and funding.
How have Priavo supported Turning Tides?
Priavo first jumped on board as a main corporate sponsor for the November SleepOut 2019, and Managing Director, Celine, and her colleague, Julia, took part in the event, raising an amazing £1,300 in sponsorship. They have helped collate food boxes, promoted our charity far and wide on their social media channels, and more recently Priavo made a company donation towards our COVID-19 Emergency Appealand they are committed to the ‘Go The Distance’ event in October 2020 as a main sponsor, with the whole team participating in the event too.
What have Priavo gained from their involvement with Turning Tides?
“I now have a far greater awareness of the extent of the homeless problem in this country. I really enjoyed meeting the Turning Tides community over the last year and truly understanding the struggle of homelessness. The real community spirit and inspirational speech from your CEO, John Holmstrom, at the SleepOut event in November has left me with a real desire to help further.” – Celine Murphy, Managing Director.
Earlier this year they launched Locate Global, an incident management and communications platform that enables organisations to locate, communicate and respond to their workforce globally, assisting with a phased return to work and COVID recovery.
