Turning Tides is a multifunctional, complex needs homelessness organisation
that works in Worthing, Adur, Littlehampton, Horsham and Mid Sussex. It has over 150 staff and 250 volunteers. Its mission is to end local homelessness.
The role of Corporate Fundraiser is an exciting role within the charity, working within the Fundraising & Communications Team which plays a vital role in maximising opportunities for Turning Tides, increasing income to support and grow the services we offer our clients. You will be responsible for devising and implementing a successful programme of fundraising from the corporate sector to an agreed annual target. This will include securing Charity of the Year applications, organisation and sponsorship of events, partnership agreements, regular giving and general donations.
The role will require creativity and innovative thinking, and the ability to nurture and maintain an existing portfolio of corporate relationships, providing exceptional supporter care. You will also deliver and develop plans for securing new income from businesses by identifying growth areas and opportunities within the corporate sector.
We are looking for someone with experience of working in the fundraising sector, ideally with a corporate fundraising background or someone who has experience of working in a business development / project management role. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage and plan your own workload and meet deadlines and targets is essential. Good IT skills are a must. The ideal candidate will relish the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of homeless people by joining a friendly and supportive team in a creative and exciting field of work.
