How can you help this Christmas?
There are so many ways you can help local rough sleeping and homeless men and women. Scroll down to read how you can make a difference this Christmas.
Financial donations are the most effective way of directly helping our mission to become a reality - to end local homelessness. Your donation, whether regular or one off, goes towards helping us run our projects which support and house the most vulnerable in society. Find out how you can make a financial donation
Throughout the year we hold a variety of amazing events which bring together the community in support of local homeless men and women. At Christmas we hold a number of events details of which can be found on our events calendar
There are loads of fun things you can do to raise money and awareness holding your own events and activities at home, work or school. Here are just a few ideas:
- Christmas Jumper Day - everyone one in the office donates a few pounds and wears a Christmas jumper to work. Or how about a woolly hat day?
- Stuck on secret santa gifts, buy items on our Christmas Wish List and give to them to give to us!
- Cake sale - who doesn't love cakes!
- Christmas craft sale - this time of year is great for craft sales, why not donate a proportion of your sales to Turning Tides
Every Christmas we ask all our projects what their clients need in the way of clothing, food, essentials etc. By donating items from our wish list you are showing a homeless person that the community cares and you care. Donations can be taken to our warehouse: Unit 15, Decoy Road, Timberlaine Trading Estate, Worthing, BN14 8ND (Open: Monday - Friday, 9am-4pm).
Our Christmas Catalogue this year has a wonderfully uplifting story of how one of our clients, Sam, came to find our service and how it has transformed his life. Click on the image below or should you wish us to send you a postal copy please email: email@example.com or phone 01903 680740 providing your name and address and we can post one to you.
We have 5 beautiful cards you can purchase and send to your loved ones - sharing the warmth of giving. Buy a homeless person a week of hot breakfasts - what could be more meaningful than that!
A range of our charity Christmas cards are available to buy at our charity shops in Worthing or Littlehampton.
